The Reality of equine Rescue
A Place for Peanut, Inc. is a non profit equine sanctuary and therapy program and was founded January 2016. We rescue and rehabilitate horses, miniature horses, and donkeys. We welcome individuals and families who want to make a difference and support our mission.
The fate of unwanted horses is simply shocking. Read Peanut’s backstory to understand the horrors of kill pens and the importance of rescue. These noble, beautiful animals have been given a new lease on life, and many have found sponsors or forever homes thanks to the organization—and your generosity!
